Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Introduction

Provost Home Design, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you visit our website, request plan modifications, or otherwise interact with our services.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through our website and communications with us (email, forms, phone). If you follow links to third-party sites (e.g., payment processors, social networks), their privacy policies apply to your activity there.

3. Information We Collect

  • Information you provide: name, email, phone, messages, project details, testimonials, and files you upload (e.g., for plan modifications or “Get Started”).
  • Account & preferences: if you sign in or save items (e.g., saved plans/details), we store profile and preference data associated with your account.
  • Transaction information: if purchases are offered, we process order details (card data is handled by our payment processor).
  • Technical information: IP address, device/browser type, browser user-agent string, and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies. When you submit a contact or inquiry form, we also store your IP address and browser user-agent in our database for spam prevention and security purposes.
  • Uploaded files: if you attach files to an inquiry (e.g., existing plans or reference images), those files are uploaded to and stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 cloud storage.
  • From third parties: we may receive information from service providers (e.g., analytics, email delivery, anti-spam/anti-abuse) or when you interact with us on social platforms.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide our services (answer inquiries, deliver plans, handle modifications, manage accounts).
  • Improve our website, products, and customer support.
  • Send service messages and, with your consent or as permitted by law, marketing communications (you can opt out).
  • Protect our services against fraud, abuse, and misuse; enforce our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and analyze usage. Key cookies include:

  • Session cookie: a server-set cookie keeps track of plans you save to favorites or add to your comparison list. This data is not linked to your identity and expires when your session ends or you clear cookies.
  • Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid): Google Analytics 4 sets these cookies to distinguish users and sessions for aggregate usage measurement. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • reCAPTCHA cookies: Google reCAPTCHA v3 runs on pages with forms to detect spam and abuse. It sets cookies and collects device and behavioral data invisibly (no checkbox or challenge is shown) per Google's Privacy Policy.

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling session or reCAPTCHA cookies may affect form submissions and the ability to save plans.

7. Analytics, Anti-Spam, Affiliates & Social

  • Google Analytics 4: we use GA4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, traffic sources, time on site). GA4 processes data per Google’s Privacy Policy. Data is anonymized and not used to identify you individually.
  • Google reCAPTCHA v3: our forms use reCAPTCHA v3 to distinguish humans from bots. This involves processing of IP addresses and behavioral data by Google, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Amazon Associates: some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. Clicking these links may result in Amazon placing tracking cookies on your device per Amazon’s Privacy Notice. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no cost to you.
  • Email delivery: transactional emails (inquiry confirmations, etc.) are sent via our email service provider, which receives only the name and address needed to deliver the message. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
  • Social links: our site links to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Your interactions on those platforms are governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. Data Sharing

  • Cloud infrastructure: our site is hosted on Render.com; media files and inquiry attachments are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3. Both vendors are bound by data-processing agreements.
  • Analytics & anti-spam: Google (Analytics 4 and reCAPTCHA v3) processes usage and behavioral data to provide those services per their own privacy policies.
  • Affiliate networks: when you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may associate that click with your Amazon account or device per their own privacy practices. We do not receive personal data from Amazon as a result of affiliate clicks.
  • Email service: our transactional email provider receives the name and email address required to deliver confirmations and notifications.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with appropriate protections.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident, we may notify you as required by law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

11. Your Choices & Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, and you may object to or restrict certain processing (subject to law). To make a request, please contact us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in each email. If you have an account, you can update certain info in your profile.

12. Region-Specific Notices

  • California/US state laws: you may have additional rights (e.g., to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses). We honor requests as required by law.
  • EEA/UK: you may also have rights to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can remove it.

14. International Transfers

If you are outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries with different data-protection laws. We take steps to protect your information in such cases.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised date. Continued use of the site following changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
